It didn't quite stick last time because I got eaten up by Twitter and the microblogging ecosystem and was in the middle of a burnout, but I used to be on LiveJournal a lot -- I had a couple roleplay character journals, in addition to my personal blog. Also it's been like *looks at calendar* 14 years, so. I need somewhere to post things that are too long and navel-gazey for Mastodon, but not self-important enough for a self-hosted blog. Expect about an even mix of thinking too much about Transformers and psychoanalyzing myself via the not-very-Transformers-at-all novel I'm getting ready to self-publish. Also old person cranky thoughts.
So I guess this is a thing I'm doing?
I guess my other blogs are too focused and I need somewhere I can just roll around moaning about things? Sure, we'll go with that. I like Tumblr in concept, but it's too focused on art (which I suck at) and not enough on wordy contents and discussion. Of course, every time I look into something focused on actual discussion I remember I hate people. So we'll see how THIS goes.
